Cricket
Cricket at 2 years

Cricket at 8 months

Cricket was special from the beginning.  As soon as she was whelped I was smitten with her. And of course, since she was out of our very first litter, she was so special to us.  Even though Cricket carries the kennel name of RandG Boxers, she was bred and whelped by Desert Boxers and is our first homebred champion. We were very proud of her successes as she received 2 Best of Breeds and 3 Majors on the road to her Championship! Cricket also garnered a Best Junior at the Southern California Boxer Club Specialty and a Grand Sweeptstakes win at the Boxer Club of Colorado Specialty in 2005.  Cricket was expertly handled by Kimberlie Steele and Rich Mysliwiec, Sr.

Cricket is a flashy brindle with very dark eyes and double dark haws. She has superb angulation, a nice straight topline, smooth over the shoulders with a long arching neck and her movement is elegant and effortless.

Her head absolutely melts you. It is broad and square and clean of wrinkles. She has a deep stop and ears that stand firmly erect. Her bite is wide and straight. Her dark eyes exude intelligence and confidence. She has an excellent, gentle and outgoing temperament.

Cricket is retired from the show ring and the whelping box.  Cricket whelped only one litter of three.  Out of this litter we kept one puppy for show.  And what a SPECIAL PUPPY this turned out to be.  First a Best of Breed from the Bred by Class at 11 months of age; then Two Placements at ABC 2008; then an AKC Champion; next a Special for 11 months; then a Multiple Best in Specialty Show Winner; then a Best In Show Winner; , then a Top 20 Winner!!!. What a ride with this lovely puppy!  What a wonderful legacy this puppy has has proven to be!!  BIS MBISS AM CH Top Twenty Desert's She's Everything, Paisley, is the legacy left to us by our first homebred champion, Cricket.  Thank you beautiful girl!

Cricket has been holtered with excellent results.  She has been SAS cleared by Dr. Miller, Animal Cardiologist, Texas A&M University.
