Zane's Champions:

Ch R&G N Belmar's Fool's Gold (Rusty) won his Championship in August 2010.  What a beautiful and deserving boy he is.  Congratulations to Gayann Jones and Bob and Cindy Patterson for their two champions from the Zane/Kenzie litter.

MBISS Ch Belmar's Desert Gold Strike  (Striker) won his championship at 11 months with a 4 point major, a 5 point major, two Best of Opposite Sex wins, and a Best of Breed.  Striker also placed in the 9-12 month fawn ABC futurity and Specialty show in 2008. Striker competed as a Special in 2009 and was #21 in standings.  With very limited showing he was a multiple Breed Winner, with Multiple Group Placements (including numerous Group Ones).  He is also a multiple Best in Specialty Show Winner. Striker is showing on a limited basis as a Special in 2010.   We are proud of this boy!

CH Desert's I'll Take the Mercedes - Mercedes was an exquiste girl who could have easily been in the Specials ring had her owners desired.  She retired at an early age. Mercedes was a Grand Sweepstakes Winner at the Boxer Club of Arizona.

Zane's grandchildren are doing wonderful in the ring and carrying on his lineage.  We are proud of the CH grandchildren!

Multi-Breed and Group Winner, Class Winner ABC Regional

It is with a great deal of sadness that we announce the passing of "our boy" Zane in May of 2013. He was the namesake of our kennel.  There's an empty place in our hearts. He was a special boy to us.  He is missed greatly.  He made us proud and loved us unconditionally.  He was always our protector, but never failed to make us laugh at his antics.  Rest in Peace at the Rainbow Bridge beautiful boy.  You have taken a piece of our hearts with you.

Zane finished his Championship at 12 months of age. During this short time period he also received a Group One placement, numerous Best of Breeds and Best of Opposites.   Zane continued to impress us as he aged  He was even more handsome with maturity. Zane continued to win Best of Breeds when shown selectively as a Special. We are very proud of this boy! Zane was expertly handled by Kimberlie Steele.  Zane was a Class Winner at the ABC Regional held in Denver, Colorado.

Zane was a semi-flashy red fawn. He stood about 25 1/2 inches tall with a square build and short back. His stride was elegant and ground covering. He was muscular, yet his body was sleek and smooth. He was very stylish in his carriage and movement. He had an awesome head with a deep stop and high ear set. He was intelligent and was a loving and gentle companion.

Zane had been extensively health tested.  He holtered with excellent results.  His thyroid was normal. SAS test cleared by Dr. Miller, Cardiologist, Texas A&M University. He had been DNA certified with the American Kennel Club.  He was retired from our breeding program at 10 1/2 years of age.
